Coch-y-Bondu (Also called Irish Black-red) : Blacker 1848. from an article of the " Bell's live".
 
 
Tag : Yellow.
Tail : A topping or three fibers of brown mallard.
Body : Fiery brown
Ribs : Fine gold twist.
Hackle : A black and red hackle from the tail to the shoulder, where two or threee rolls are laid of the black
end of the feather.
Wings : Spotted Bustard and brown Mallard.
